This is a legal document. By signing it you give up substantial legal rights, including the right to sue Evolve First for injuries caused by its ordinary negligence.
Nobody is watching. Evolve First does not supervise, monitor, coach, screen or evaluate you at any time, does not know where or how you are training, and cannot respond to an emergency. There is no trainer and no medical professional involved at any point.
These activities are dangerous. The challenges involve very high repetition bodyweight training, running and rucking outdoors and in traffic and weather, jumping and landing, weight training, cold water exposure, and significant changes to fluid intake, diet and sleep.
The risks include sprains, tears and fractures; exertional rhabdomyolysis and kidney failure; heart attack, cardiac arrest and stroke; heat stroke, dehydration and hyponatremia; hypothermia and fainting from cold exposure; being struck by a vehicle; aggravation of any existing condition; compulsive or disordered exercise and eating; permanent disability; and death.
You knowingly and voluntarily assume all of these risks, known and unknown, including risks caused by the ordinary negligence of Evolve First, and you accept full and sole responsibility for any injury, illness, disability, death, or property loss you suffer.
You release and waive all claims against Evolve First and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents and affiliates, you agree not to sue them, and you agree to indemnify and hold them harmless — to the fullest extent permitted by law.
You confirm you are in good health, that you have been advised to see a doctor before starting and have either done so or freely chosen not to, and that you will stop and get medical help if anything in the Safety Rules happens to you.
