Seven things
we believe.
If you disagree with most of these, this is not the right product for you, and that is fine. There are four hundred others.

"Get in shape" has no end. "1,500 push-ups in 30 days" has an end, a number, and a date. One of those you can succeed at. The other one you can only feel bad about.
Every plan here is repetitive on purpose. Novelty is what people reach for when they want to feel like they are training instead of training. Do the same unglamorous thing enough times and your body has no choice.
We will never show you a graph of your sleep architecture. We show you the number of days you finished and the number of days left. That is the only data that has ever changed anyone's behavior.
If it were easy you would already have done it. The challenge being hard is not a bug we are trying to design around — it is the point.
You are competing with the version of you that quit last time. That version has a real record and is undefeated in a lot of households. The board exists to make it harder to be that person quietly.
You will skip a day nobody knows about. You will not skip a day somebody you know can see on a board. This is not a character flaw, it is just how people work, and we would rather use it than pretend otherwise.
Not optimizing. Not tracking. Not journeying. Finishing. The specific feeling of having said you would do a hard thing and then having done it is the actual product, and it transfers to everything else in your life.
