Accessibility
Accessibility statement.
We want this usable by everybody, including people using a screen reader, a keyboard only, magnification, or reduced motion. Here is honestly where we are.
What we have done
- Real headings in order, real links and real buttons — navigation works without a mouse.
- A skip-to-content link as the first focusable element on every page.
- Visible focus outlines that are never removed.
- Text and interface colours checked for contrast against the black background.
- The waiver checkboxes expose
role="checkbox"andaria-checked, and can be operated from the keyboard. - Layouts reflow to a phone without horizontal scrolling, and text scales when you zoom.
- No autoplaying media, no flashing content, and no motion that cannot be ignored.
- Every challenge is also available as a printable page, which is often the most accessible format of all.
Known gaps
We would rather list these than pretend they are not there.
- The day grid on your dashboard is a dense set of small buttons. It is keyboard reachable but tedious to move through with a screen reader.
- Some interface labels use heavy condensed uppercase type, which is harder to read for some people. The body text does not.
- The site has not yet been through a formal third-party accessibility audit.
If something does not work for you
Tell us what page it was, what you were trying to do, and what you use to browse — that is usually enough to fix it. Write to evolve@evolve-first.com or use the contact page. Accessibility problems get treated as bugs, not feature requests, and we will tell you when it is fixed.
Alternative formats
If you need a challenge plan, the Membership Terms, or the Waiver in a different format — large print, plain text, or read aloud — ask and we will send it. There is no charge and you do not have to explain why.
